About the Author:

Alexander Walker studied journalism and philosophy at Indiana University. He later studied languages at the Université de Genève and the Académie de Langues et de Commerce, both in Switzerland. He earned a French diploma through the U.N. Language School in Geneva. He currently lives in Santa Monica, California where he works as a translator of books from French and Italian. Goodbye, Gracie is his first book, a true account written while homeless.
